Landing Pages & Conversion Sites

Speculative redesigns sent as cold-outreach demos to South African businesses. Every page below is a full long-scroll landing experience with hero, services, social proof, and conversion-focused CTAs. Excerpts shown; full pages available on request.

Cold-Outreach Demo Long-Form Landing SA Manufacturer

Outdoor Furniture Manufacturer (SA)

Cold-outreach speculative redesign for a Cape Town manufacturer with a basic GoDaddy product page and no conversion architecture. Goal: reposition them from a forgettable product page to a long-scroll landing experience anchored on durability and factory-direct pricing.

Cape Town's Trusted Manufacturer Since Day One

Outdoor Furniture Built to Outlast Everything.

Premium recycled plastic furniture that won't rot, rust, splinter, or fade. Zero maintenance. Built right here in Cape Town.

Product Section Header Furniture That Works as Hard as You Do.

From family braais to commercial venues — every piece is built to handle South African conditions without breaking a sweat.

Cold-Outreach Demo Two-Track Funnel Artisanal Food

Artisanal Food Brand (SA)

Cold-outreach speculative redesign for a small-batch food producer with a 14-SKU range and no website. Built a two-track homepage running B2C pantry storefront and B2B trade-enquiry funnel side by side, plus a separate trade page.

Gordon's Bay · Small Batch · Preservative-Free

Pantry food, the way it should taste.

14 handmade chutneys, marmalades and relishes — led by a chilli crisp worth talking about. Preservative-free. Gluten-free. MSG-free. Made in Gordon's Bay.

Primary & Secondary CTAs "See where to buy" → "Browse the full range"

Soft primary CTA respects buyer's preference for retail discovery; ghost secondary keeps the e-commerce path open without forcing it.

Cold-Outreach Demo Service Landing Cleaning Services

Eco-Friendly Cleaning Service (SA)

Cold-outreach speculative redesign for a Cape Town residential and commercial cleaning service. Existing site was modern but missing trust signals, a clear lead-capture flow, and any conversion architecture. Demo went hard on owner-supervised positioning and WhatsApp-first CTAs.

Spec & portfolio pieces below. Written to demonstrate range across direct response formats. Not live client work — labelled honestly so reviewers can judge the craft, not assume a track record.

Direct Response Formats

Three spec pieces built around hypothetical offers — a fitness coaching program, a SaaS project tool, and an online business course. Each demonstrates a different format and a different emotional register.

Spec Ad Set: Three Angles, One Offer

Brief: A 30-day fitness coaching program priced at R997. Three Facebook ads written to demonstrate emotional range across the same offer — curiosity, urgency, and authority. Cold traffic, mobile-first feed placement, ~120 words each.
Angle A — Curiosity Open

The reason your last diet failed has nothing to do with willpower.

Most fitness programs sell you the same recycled meal plan with a different cover. Then they blame you when it doesn't work.

Our 30-day coaching plan is built around one thing: the habit you'll actually stick to in week 4. We figure that out in week 1, then build everything else on top of it.

R997 for the full month. Coach access, plan, weekly check-ins.

Angle B — Urgency / Loss Frame

Every week you wait is another R3,000 wasted on takeaways and a gym contract you barely use.

That's not an exaggeration. The average SA professional burns R3k+ a month on food and fitness products that go straight to waste.

For R997, we'll replace the lot. One coach. One plan. 30 days to a system that costs less and works better.

Slots fill on the 1st of every month. Don't wait another four weeks.

Start Monday →

Angle C — Authority / Proof

412 Cape Town professionals lost 5kg+ in 30 days using this method.

Not a celebrity diet. Not an extreme cut. A simple framework: three habit changes per week, a weekly coach check-in, R997 for the month.

Built specifically for people who tried everything else and got nowhere.

Slots are limited because every client gets a real coach, not a chatbot.

Spec Welcome Sequence: 3 Emails

Brief: A SaaS project management tool aimed at small SA teams. Free 14-day trial signup. Sequence designed to drive trial-to-paid conversion through quick wins, objection handling, and a soft offer. Written in the founder's voice.

Spec VSL Opening: 60 Seconds

Brief: First minute of a video sales letter for a hypothetical online business course. Goal: hook cold viewers, name the unspoken fear, and earn the next two minutes of attention before transitioning into the framework reveal.

If you've spent more than 90 days trying to launch your first online business and you've still got nothing to show for it, you're not lazy. You're not dumb. You're stuck on the same step that traps most people — and the worst part is, no one's actually telling you what that step is.

It's not the website. It's not the niche. It's not the funnel.

The thing that's keeping you stuck is the same thing that kept me stuck for two years: a quiet belief that you need to figure it all out before you can take the first paying customer.

That belief is wrong, and in the next two minutes I'm going to show you exactly why — using the system that 1,200+ South African business owners have used to land their first customer in under 30 days.

Stay with me. This isn't a sales video. This is the framework. The offer comes at the end if you want it.

Here's how it works...

Brand & Short-Form Copy

Live brand homepages and a selection of social copy I've written for client brands across cleaning, marketing, and SME sectors.

Intellium Inc — Live Homepage

Hero, services, and CTAs for my own digital agency

Live website copy I wrote for my own brand — positioning, service descriptions, lead magnet, and trust block. Where I eat my own cooking.

Intellium — Lead Magnet Funnel

Google Visibility Checker — landing page + free tool

Live lead-magnet landing page I wrote for the free Google Visibility Checker tool. Positioned around the unspoken fear: "Is your business invisible on Google?"

View live tool

Zeltech Pro — B2B LinkedIn

"Still buying paper towels by the pallet?"

Cost-saving angle for a commercial hygiene product. Lead with the question, run the maths in the body, close on the buyer's actual job-to-be-done. No fluff, no testimonials, just the numbers.

Z Cleaning — Educational FB

"How the pros use a microfibre cloth"

Five-tip educational caption that gives away the actual technique. Builds authority by trading product secrets, then earns the soft CTA at the end. Short-form, scannable, save-worthy.

IMQ — Action Prompt

"I'm not joking — go Google your business name."

Sub-100-word action prompt with a built-in micro-commitment. The reader does the work in real time, surfaces their own gap, then gets the 15-minute fix. Direct response in three sentences.

IMQ — Engagement Post

"Did you do the thing you said you'd do on April 1st?"

Month-end engagement post designed to pull comments without a CTA. Soft empathy frame, low-stakes question, single-line ask. Performs because the bar to participate is one word.

How I work

Same four steps whether I'm writing a single ad or a 12-section landing page. The order doesn't change. The depth at each step does.

01

Research first.

Voice-of-customer mining, competitor teardown, offer audit. The angle decides the copy. If the research is shallow, the copy reads generic, no matter how much polish goes on top.

02

Pick the framework.

AIDA for cold traffic. PAS for service offers. BAB for transformation. SB7 for trust-led brands. Match the framework to the funnel stage and the audience temperature, not the writer's habit.

03

Draft for one reader.

Every line earns the next. No filler, no hedge words, no "in today's fast-paced world". Read aloud, cut anything that isn't doing work, then read it aloud again.

04

Build for testing.

Headlines and angles delivered in variants so the team can A/B from day one. Best copy is the copy that won the last test. The job isn't done until the variant lineup is shipped.
